Optik TV streaming platform

I don’t live in BC, AB or QC but wondered if Telus is coming out with a streaming platform (e.g. Netflix, Disney+, Acorn, etc) that will offer the Optik TV in other provinces that doesn’t require a physical device install?

Unlikely, as the carriers tend to be geographically bounded. Remember, the distribution of services such as Optik is not internet, but Telus’ own local area network. Distribution across the internet is a whole different thing.
