My PVR's fan has been running for a week straight. I have unplugged and replugged to reset and it stayed off for about 30 mins and has started up again. I am concerned that the PVR is crashing. Requesting a new one doesn't seem to be an option.
My neighbour had issues with hers and she requested a new unit and though Telus says is coming, it never does. She calls back and they tell it wasn't shipped and they will try again. She's called 4 times and still hasn't received the new unit.
If my unit crashes, and Telus doesn't/can't send another and my area CAN NOT get Optik, what are my options?
We're also have trouble with jerky channels as I see so many other are having, but a work around by going to channel 512 and then to the channel I want to watch has stopped it. But I have to do it every time I turn the TV on.
