I have had nothing but issues with this Company since we moved out of the city. Every time we try to communicate with any part of their system, it takes forever to go through their Automated system and 9/10 end up with the wrong department. Never mind trying to find a phone number. Then you have to sit on hold for 20 minutes to be told that they cannot help you or that you are at fault. Not a single note is taken for any complaint, any issue, communication, etc. Example: Lightening hit a transformer outside our house last year, killing our modem (even though it was on a surge protector). It was determined by the service tech that it was not our fault and that we would not be charged for his time. We were $150.00 for the technician and the cost of a Modem that was already 5 years old and locked Telus. When trying to deal with this, they proceed to try and get the technician in trouble. Unacceptable. It took over an hour to get it straightened out and the charges removed. How do they justify $180/month in advance for internet ONLY and then charge a $150.00 for a technician to take care of their product. It's an old, cheap modem. We have been trying to get them to come out an remove the multiple useless cable lines that run from the power pole to our house and we cannot get anyone to do so. They have removed my name off the account as a person to be able to communicate on behave of the account holder who works 10 hour shifts/6days a week. This person is not able to sit on hold (at work) for an hour just to get you to remove your fn lines from our house. Now I am trying to deal with this situation and have been told that I am not authorized to communicate with them about this. FFS. We have cancelled everything and just want you to get your FN cables off our property and disconnected from our house. I am so done dealing with these criminal corporation manopolies. CRTC will get a complaint.
