Disappointed with monthly plan charges

Good afternoon,

 

I just had a call with the loyalty department and to my disappointment there is nothing that can be done for a long term customer that has 5 numbers, streaming and internet with Telus!

All I was asking is to try to reduce the monthly charges on two of the five accounts but according to the rep, there is nothing that Telus can do for me. 

Lucky thing though, with only seven months contract left on those two accounts, Bell is more than happy to take them in (keeping our devices) for $15 and $25 less per month per account. They will cover the months left with a small promo discount to leverage the Telus fees. 

I wasn't  expecting this from Telus, a long term partner of ours but money is money.
Sorry Telus.

Of course not sure if this is apples to apples. I have a two phone plan.

I have on occasion when the thought occurs log into my account and see if there are any offers I would be interested in. 

About 3 months ago I looked and found that without losing anything I was able to rewrite my existing contract and save about $30 monthly. Of course that may have meant an extension of the contract, but I have been with Telus since they were called BC Tel.

This is not the first time, over the years offers to increase bandwidth were avilable for the taking, no extra charges. But no one is going to just add it on and sau surprise.

Lately I have been getting unsolicited proposals to merge my cell phone to my home services. It is as though they do not know I have a cell phone OR? I will just leave as is for now.

I don't know what offers may be available to you, only you can look and decide.

BTW customer loyalty has not been the same as historically remembered.
