Is this email valid or a scam?
My daughter recently switched from her own account to mine ( yes, I am that mother who helps her children out)
The same day we switched her account over, she wanted to upgrade to a new phone, and she was with the bring back my phone deal
The phone she wanted wasn't available in store, so they ordered for her to be sent to our home address. They store employees also, gave her all the information to send the old phone back (either return to store or mail it) so she could be credited the $500 for her phone. She was also told to pay the bill for the remaining balance owe what would be owed when she received her next bill. And she was assured that the old account would remain active until the balance was paid
Well guess what.. her account did not remain open. It was closed within a week. She never received her next bill, and an attempt to make a payment for what she estimated the bill to have been failed, as the account was no longer there. AND when we returned the phone IN-STORE, they assured me that the credit for $500 would be applied t her account. I told them that we tried to pay the bill, but the account didn't exist and wouldn't take a payment. We were told that they phone would be credited and not to worry. So the phone was sent back by the store employees.
No $500 credit every showed up on my account and my daughter is receiving emails from Telekom law for a ridiculous amount.
You cant make a payment when TELUS cancels the account, and no $500 credit ever was given

Are you able to help me? My daughter should not owe much on her TELUS account which she cannot pay as her account was shut down

Thanks for sending me an email.. but I will not be clicking on any link to allow you access to my daughters account.. as it doesn't exist anymore. She was locked out of it and told it doesn't exist.
And any attempts at contactin TELUS about it , has be a failure as theybeven tell us the account doesnt exist.
Sorry. But no clicking on links from an unknown source by me.

On this forum when they say they will send you a message it is a PM message or private message. look at the envelope beside your log in icon top right and if there is a red number, a message awaits. There you can discuss personal information with support. I do not think they work weekends.
