In March I had a call with a Telus agent to inquire about PikTV - I ended up declining it. I got an email saying that it was set up, so I called Telus and they assured me the email was a mistake and there was no account with Telus for Pik TV. Well apparently I was billed for the service even though I never asked for it. I never received a bill from Telus but the bill went into arrears (not surprising as I didn't know it existed) and is now with a collections agency. Telus says they can't do anything because it's with collections and they can no longer access the file. Apparently there is not a single person in Telus that can help me, because it has "gone to collections." Not sure how to remedy, as I was billed in error in the first place, and the collections agency can't help. I don't want my credit impacted due to Telus's mistake, and I can't believe they can't contact the collections agency on my behalf. Has anyone run into this situation? Help please!
