Pure Fibre Lake Bonavista

When will Pure Fibre be installed and operational in Lake Bonavista?  I was initially told anywhere from 2023-2025.  I have seen no activity in the communities north of Fish Creek to Anderson Road.  No announcements either.  My understanding is that construction started in Canyon Meadows in late 2023 and was never completed.

It is long past time to abandon the obsolete DSL technology.  My service has degraded over the years, and I am constantly asking for rate reductions as they offer lower prices to my neighbours.  The competition also uses an out-dated technology that I won’t consider.  Ironically, Lake Bonavista was a pilot project for high-speed Internet and TV service by TELUS in the late 1990’s.  There is still aerial fibre in the alleys.
