Are you referring to the logo in the guide or the watermark while watching TV?

Thanks for confirming. And just so that we're on the same page, is the independent channel you're referring to KSTW?

The CW is the station name for channel 143 while KTSW is the local (Seattle) affiliate name. I'll take this away to see if it's still accurate.

The guide still displays CW whereas the screen shows Seattle KSTW.
KSTW is no longer part of CW, I think that is the point being made that even minor corrections are not made to Optik TV
Effective Sept. 1, Paramount Global-owned KSTW disaffiliated from The CW and went fully independent with no network affiliation.

Hi @EJ44, the guide information is shared with TELUS through a vendor, meaning we do not have direct control. A ticket has been submitted to have this updated, thank you for flagging it!

Hi, The channel 143 logo has been updated. Thanks for flagging

This still hasn't been fixed 6 months later.
This still shows up as the CW Seattle on the Optik STB guide, despite it no longer being an affiliate

I think it may be dependent on which STB you have. @Alister which set top box do you have?
I have the old Cisco PVR and it shows the CW logo in the guide for 143. The newer box shows the Seattle11 logo instead, as does the Telus TV+ app.

Yeah, i have the older PVR too. Unfortunate it isn't fixed, it's a bit misleading!
:edit: and interestingly. When I'm signed into the app, it shows as the CW. But when I'm not signed on, it shows as Seattle11.

Great, now there are 3 guides. I had previously asked why the guide at home TV and the guide online away from home are not the same guide. Now you found a third guide that non subscribers can see. No wonder IT people have a full time job.

I'll have Kate flag this as well. Be sure to let us know if there's ever anything wrong with the actual channel/programming as well.

Hello, I flagged this to the team and changes have been made. Can you please let us know if there are further discrepancies?

Hi Kate - I have the old 4K box and both KSTW ( channel 143 ) and WGN ( channel 285 ) still have the CW logo showing in the Channel Listings.

Hi Kate - just to let you that I am still seeing the CW logo in the guide listings for KSTW ( channel 143 in Vancouver ) and WGN ( channel 285 ).

Hard to imagine improvements when the simple stuff does not get done.

Just noticed that the logos for both KSTW ( now showing Seattle11 ) and WGN ( now showing WGN 9 ) have been updated in the guide listings on the Optik 4K box. 👍

Ah, I flagged it to our team a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad the change finally went through for the 4K boxes. Thanks again for flagging.
September
As of September 1st WGN has now gone back to being a CW affiliate.😵
from nexttv.com:
Nexstar Media Group, which owns The CW, said the network’s affiliation will be moving to Nexstar-owned WGN Chicago.
Nexstar had previously said that two other Nexstar owned stations — WVBT Norfolk, Virginia, and KLFY Lafayette, Louisiana — will also carry CW programming starting Sept. 1.
WVBT is a Fox affiliate. The CW will be on digital channel 43.2, replacing Cozi TV. KLFY is a CBS affiliate and The CW will be on channel 10.2.
“The addition of these Nexstar-owned stations as affiliates — two of which are among the country’s Top 50 largest markets, highlighted by Chicago at No. 3 — will bring the number of Nexstar-owned CW stations to 42, covering more than 36% of U.S. TV households,” Andrew Alford, president of Nexstar’s broadcasting division, said. “Adding The CW’s programming to them will offer advertisers a variety of new linear and digital opportunities to reach millions of viewers.”
Nexstar is able to generate additional revenue and profits in markets where it owns The CW affiliates. Since acquiring a majority stake in the network, Nexstar has changed its programming strategy and added sports programming in weekend time slots.
The CW affiliate in Chicago had been WCIU, owned by Weigel Broadcasting.
