It would be great if you could automatically add recording time to all sports recordings. When I was on Shaw years ago it would always ask, when recording sports events, if you wanted to add recording time. I record hockey games all the time. If the game goes into overtime, or even runs slightly long, the scheduled time isn't enough and the end of the game doesn't record. It would be nice to be able to set it to auto-add 30 or even 60 mins to every recording in the "Sports" category? I realize I can do it mannualy but it's time consuming and easy to forget in a rush. I have run into issues with the IVR. Either I go to the wrong group when I specify another group or get routed it accidently heard. Can we have a return to main menu feature like they do for voicemail? Or make it a list of services TELUS offers and branch down. Business or Home Scan the phone number used If its attached to an account, it lists the accounts its attached to Billing or Tech Support Then the category you need TV/Internet/Home Phone/Mobility/Security/MyCare/TOS/multiple services If you make a mistake we should have an option to hear what route we went to ensure we wait in the correct queue. In a work from anywhere kind of world The fact TELUS does not allow WI-FI calling outside Canada is truly bizarre. I have read hundreds of comments on Twitter, Reddit, and on this Forum dating back to 2017 and yet no action from TELUS. If you are ever outside Canada in a concrete building that has great Wi-Fi but poor cell signal. (Much of the Caribbean and other areas of the world). This function will simply never work with TELUS. I ended up having to switch my primary work line away from TELUS in order to address this scenario after 6 years of *hoping*. Every North American carrier Rogers, Sprint, Verizon etc. all allow this functionality. TELUS loves to compare itself as only "Second to South Korea" - Well in SK They give all their users a dedicated app that allows texting and calling from anywhere in the world! it is simply inexcusable in our current world.

A new feature to arm and disarm on a schedule. I.e, every day at 11 pm, set security to arm stay. Then everyday at 6:30 am, set security to disarm. This is a basic feature with most home security companies. I would not have signed up with Telus if I had known this feature is not supported.

The way it is set up currently, the current show while scrolling the guide is playing in the background but it is faded and very difficult to see as it is obscured by written information. It would be nice if there was a small box running with the current TV show, something like picture in picture.

When browsing on demand on a PikTV box, as well as when viewing on demand for Pik and Optik on the website as well as the mobile apps, there is a section on each under on demand where it has a list of the channels with on demand content and sorts all of the available shows under each channel. For some reason that option does not seem to exist when I view on demand content on my Optik box itself. Is there a way to add that section to the set top box on demand? On the Optik box (Cisco), if I go to the TV On Demand section, there isn't a list of channels there. There is a Major Networks section with 5 major channels to choose from but it's not even remotely close to the experience in the app, online or on Pik. I've never used one of the newer set top boxes so I have no idea if they have it or not.

Spoke to a customer service rep over the phone today regarding lost all my rewards points. A female rep wasn't friendly & not trying to help. She said the rewards up to end of 2023 were all gone if you didn't use it by then. The new points started in Jan 2024 & I should have gotten them. I asked her how come I didn't receive any email or letter to inform me about that. She said it was mentioned in the monthly bill/invoice. I told her I've auto payment on a/c which is same for every month so there no need for me to look at them. They should have sent out an email or sent out a letter to inform their clients. I asked her how come it say zero reward on my a/c? After she checked, she said "oh, the new rewards are only for clients who has more than one product with Telus. Since you only have one product, you earn nothing". I told her that's unfair and would like to voice my concerns. I asked her how I can do that & where would I find it since I'm already logged in my a/c on their website. She said you can't do it from your a/c & must be done at the bottom right on Telus.com. I told her I'm there & where at the bottom right? Then she made me waited for at least 2 minutes until I asked if she's looking at Telus.com. She said still looking, once found she'll email me the link. Waited another minute or so, I told her do I need to continue wait on the line while she's looking for the link to email me. She then said "I THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA!". I said ok she just hung up on me without saying anything more. This is what I received by email. The large green status bar at the bottom of the screen hides important text information on the tv when pause is pressed or FF/RW. During the news hour for example, names of people being interviewed or locations of events is hidden from view because the large green status bar covers it. Closed captions for movies are located at the bottom of the screen and are also covered by the large green status bar. If you press play, it takes 6 seconds for the status bar to disappear and then it’s often too late to read the information, resulting in a need to rewind again, only to have this occur again. If the location of the status bar was located at the top of the screen, it would not hide most network text. Better yet, if the user had the choice to move the status bar, that would be very convenient. Please consider this.

It should be simple for Telus to mark a customer's file when they receive requested equipment returns so that an "Important Reminder: Please return your TELUS equipment" email is not auto-generated weeks after Telus received the equipment. Including "If you have already returned your equipment, we sincerely appreciate your cooperation! Please disregard this message." is not acceptable. Customers then wonder did someone at Telus steal the equipment I sent back? Am I going to get charged and have to waste hours of everybody's time proving the equipment was returned?

I just moved to Telus Optik TV from Shaw. I have the digital IPTV box. The one feature I missed the most is the ability to find categories of shows on the live guide. For example, find all the movies that's currently playing on the entire guide. It turns out, there is no live filter in the new digital tv box but it was available in the previous box (according to Telus support articles).
