I know this has been asked over and over and is in several forums on the net. For some reason, sometimes I get logged into some google service with my telus email account. Then havoc happens. I can no longer use Google Maps, Google Meet, Google Flights, etc. It's next to impossible to log out as it gives error 404 - no Admin access. So I can rarely remember how to log out. Telus says it is either user error or I need to clear all my cache or I need to create a Google account. Of course none of these are the solution and it is because xxx@telus.net is preventing us from using free google apps. I finally figured out to log into gmail.com on a browser then immediately log out and this now seems to let me log out and then everything works. But I still cannot use my xxx@telus.net email to join a meeting or book flights.
Anyone have any suggestions (other than creating a new email account or leaving Telus)? Thanks!

The telus.net email is NOT GMAIL. It's based on Google Workspace, which is an enterprise solution. They are a separate thing entirely. It does not have access to other Google services. It's not user error or cache related. It's the way Google designed it.
As has been said multiple times before, if you don't log out of the telus.net email, you'll need to log in to your main Google/Gmail account first. Then log in to the Telus.net email after that. All the Google services will need to be accessed when you're logged into your primary Gmail/Google account. You can change which account you're using by clicking your avatar icon on the top right when logged into email through a browser.

Every Telusl tech that I speak with tells me that it is gmail as it is on a gmail server using gmail services and is a gmail account with a @TELUS.net extension.
What do you mean by log out of @TELUS.net? Log out from where? The only thing I have it logged into is my email account using my iPhone generic Mail app. On my surfacepro I use Outlook and it is logged in there. But I do not log into any google service as I do not have any gmail account and I do not have another email account. I have no need to log into maps or flights, etc. because I just use these services to search. I do not log into them. But for some reason, every now and then something logs into something with my @TELUS.net email and it somehow logs into a google service somewhere. If Google Maps does open, it says you do not have access to this and I can see in the icon that I somehow got logged in using my @TELUS.net account. When I click Log Out it says Error 404 you do not have Admin Rights. And that's it - no way to log out. I did finally figure out that I can open a browser, go to gmail.com and log in using my @TELUS.net email address (not sure how I can if you say that Telus is not a gmail account). As soon as I log into gmail with my Telus account, I immediately log out and this successfully logs me out of all the google services like maps and flights, etc. and I can now use them as I always do without logging into them.

Both Gmail and enterprise uses the same web based interface and for email but they function differently. Gmail comes with all of the associated Google services. Workspace for ISPs do not as Google charges a huge amount to add each individual app/service since it's based on the entire user base. Since telus.net the email is offered free to users, the pricey add-ons aren't included.
Being logged in with the iPhone Mail app shouldn't affect the other installed iOS Google apps or websites. Same with Outlook on Windows. Is the problem primarily on Windows? Is it web based maps / flights or the individual apps for them? On Windows, are you using Chrome or MS Edge? If yes, are you logged in with your Telus account to Chrome itself to sync passwords, bookmarks, etc.? (the profile icon in the top right of the screen) That could make Google auto associate the telus.net account for their other services.
