i havent recieved my sim in the mailbox and i just got an email saying they have started charging me on my account when my sim hasn't even been activated nor recieved. I went inperson and just to get the same sim i was asked to pay for it, what am i supposed to do in this situation? im overseas and cannot personally connect with Telus.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Just to clarify, when a new SIM is ordered, the service on your existing account continues as usual, and billing is not paused while the SIM is in transit. Charges are tied to the service itself, not the physical SIM card or activation status.
