Stream+ Disney Plus Asking for Payment

I recently subscribed to Stream+ and during activation I tried to setup Disney+ as a new subscriber however it didn't work and kept asking for payment. I called Telus support right away and the agent there wasn't very helpful, she stated on Telus' end that it was linked successfully and should be working fine. After some useless basic troubleshooting steps like using a web browser, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, etc the only thing she could consider suggesting was just cancelling stream plus and re-signing up for it. I didn't want to do that because it was going to be complicated with my EPP pricing and I honestly doubt it would resolve anything, so decided not to move forward with it. Now when I go to My Telus and go to manage subscriptions, Stream+ says I need to complete activation however the Disney+ link says to launch Disney+ and doesn't allow for me to relink it.

 

I can't find any way to fix this myself, and it seems like Telus phone support is less than helpful. Is there anyone that can help me get this sorted out? I really just want to be able to use the new Disney+ account I created, and as of now I've only been able to link Netflix with Stream+. Or should I be reaching out to Disney+ support for help?
