Hi there - I was looking to swap a few of my theme packs since a few of them now only contain 1 or 2 channels we watch. The good thing is that all the channels we still watch that were part of the theme packs we were going to lose are all part of the " Pick 5 " package. So I called in and explained the changes we wanted to make but was told that the " Pick 5 " package was not available to customers that still use the old Optik 4K cable box. The CSR then told me that he could add on these channels ( A&E, Adult Swim, W Network, etc. ) as individual channels for $5 apiece. So if I made the change these 5 channels would cost me $25 instead of $5 !!!! I then asked if these 5 channels can all be added individually then why can't they be added via the " Pick 5 " option ???? The CSR just said that they didn't know the answer to that but only that he could not add the " Pick 5 " package to any customer using the Optik 4K box. I tried again later that day hoping that I would get a different response from a different CSR but received the same response. Can somebody here from Telus tell me why I can't add the " Pick 5 " package as long as I am using the Optik 4K box.
