Cancellation fees

We’ve recently had to move our office due to circumstances out of our control with the building. We’ve tried to move our Telus business internet, but they don’t serve the area where our new office is. Because of this, Telus is charging us over $2000 in cancellation fees. We are a small business and this is a huge, unaffordable amount for us. We have to give our keys back this week and Telus hasn’t told us how to return our items, only saying we will have to pay for them as well if we don’t get them returned. I’m at a loss what to do, we’ve tried to ask to speak to supervisors/management but have not heard back.

Hi, thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience — we understand how difficult and stressful this situation must be for your business.

While we do our best to support small businesses, TELUS Business services are subject to contractual terms, including cancellation fees when a service is ended early.

To return your business equipment, you can do so via Canada Post. If returning via Canada Post, quote the return ID number PR142924 to them and package everything in a box and include either the first page of your TELUS bill or provide the account holder information and account number.
