Unexpected Charges on Telus Business Bill

rightarm

To all small business owners out there, I want to share my experience with Telus Business and the shady tactics they use to secure sales. After specifically asking if there would be any additional fees beyond the agreed-upon charges. I was assured by their representative that there were none.
Fast forward to receiving our first bill… over $400 in unexpected charges that were NEVER disclosed.

I've spent HOURS on the phone with multiple "managers" who admit their representative misled me and took full responsibility for their mistake. Yet, despite their acknowledgment, they refuse to credit me for the unexpected charges. I am now being charged for 'missed or late' payments and my bill is outrageous!
When I ask to escalate to higher management, I’m told that these individuals are the highest level of service, but they still don't have the authority to fix the issue. I’m beyond frustrated.
I’m now seeking someone with actual authority to resolve this properly and make it right. If anyone has had a similar experience or can offer advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Of anyone from Telus would like to reach out I would be happy to chat?

These problems are new, I mean I have a business phone system that has no problems. But I did not get it from a reseller many complain about. I did get it without seeing and approving contract. Things sure have changed in 13 years.

Even the conversion to the TelusTV, internet and home phone went smoother than recent complaints.

Telus needs to bring back local workers and abandon resellers.

While some financing programs allow customers to finance the upfront taxes (like vehicle purchases), interest is typically charged on that amount. TELUS Easy Payment is a 0% interest program with no fees to participate, but we are required to collect and remit the tax in the same month the device was purchased — that’s why the tax payment is charged upfront. Those charges are valid and will not be reversed. That said, we’d like to take a closer look at the late payment charges and see how we can help. Please send us a private message with your account details, and we’ll be happy to review this for you.

Re: Business mobility account
(removed account number)

Thank you for your reply. I am very disappointed in the way Telus has conducted business, but it is apparent you will not be resolving this issue in the ethical way I had hoped.

If you could please reverse the extra charges due to late payments and provide me with the longest flexible payment options possible so I can attempt to make my payments each month.

Thank you

We have had the same problem for the last three months. We went through the CRO office, and Telus still won't budge. They scammed us $700, but our phone plan is over 10k a year. This is the last contract they get with any of our companies. It's ridiculous to be treated this way by some employee from overseas after 20+ years of being a loyal customer. Regine Lita is the employee who scammed us
