Bill Increased

My bill was 278 last month and this month April is 309. When checked with Telus, they say after internal audit you are not eligible for previous discounts. Though I was agreed for 2 years of discounts, its only 18 months passed. Should I go back to my old company Rogers for better offer ?

I wish you would stand up for your rights here with TELUS. You agreed to a 2 year contract and you should pay the agreed price and no more. Pay what you owe and if they take you to collections have your contract ready to prove you do not owe anything.

I did post in another thread that TELUS claims to have sole discretion and making changes to your programming and also the cost of said service. I told them see you in small claims court and continued to pay the correct amount. The arrears and interest have been reversed and I am in good standing.

Then make sure to give notice of termination at least 30 days before the end but ask for a new contract terms. There is no need to jump ship back and forth as there is no difference between them.

They appear to test the water and if people accept the new rate. pay it then they gain your $$

Hello ranswain, we'll be happy to look into this with you. Just a quick FYI that you may have a 24 months but some discount offers can be for 12, 18 or 24 months. If the offer was indeed for 24 months than we'll be able to help you. We'll send you a private message soon in order to get more information, thanks!
