Safe Internet Feature

Lorenzo56

Telus has a "Safe Internet" feature that can screen the use of certain products or websites. It is screening out an internet service from Mexico that we use regularly there, and would like to use in Canada. How do I turn off the Safe Internet feature? There isn't an option on the Telus Connect app.

thanks

I've never heard of the "Safe internet" feature you mentioned. Telus doesn't block products or websites. You may have something on your computer that could but it wouldn't be from Telus. Some antivirus / anti-malware programs will block access to potentially malicious websites or services. Most modern web browsers also have some security in them to block some malicious websites.

Which service in Mexico is not working?

What error message(s) are you getting?

Are you sure that service can be accessed from Canada?

Have you tried it from another device / computer?

Are you trying to access the service through a browser or a dedicated app?

Are you using a VPN or just connecting directly?

What operating system version are you using?
