Billing cost increase - notify using text or email

Recently, the cost of Stream+ went up by $5.   I was notified only by way of a small paragraph at the very bottom of my February statement after the long list of my calling history - which I never look at.

 

As a courtesy, Telus should tell us through either a text message or email that our cost is increasing and why.  

 

No one likes to be surprised by an increase in their costs and then have to fish around to find out when and why.

Definitely appreciate the feedback. We've notified customers of changes in the past (and still do for certain things) via text and/or email. That course of action however also brings with it the risk of complaints from customers who deem it "spamming", etc. We always encourage all of our customers to read their bills for such messages every month.
