I lost my sim card 2 days and got a new one yesterday. I signed into the mytelus app and changed the email since it was my dads before and then began the process of switching the sim. When it came down to the 2FA verification i was given the option to either send the verification to my email or phone number. However without a sim card on my phone I cant send it to my number because it would be useless. And so when I chose the email option, the message "A verification code cannot be sent to the selected email address at this time. To receive a verification code right away, please choose the SMS option." popped up on my screen.
I already talked to Live Chat and it took like 3 hours just for them to tell me to give them a phone number that they can call. I gave them my girlfriends phone number since im literally at work and my phone cant receive calls anyways.
My girlfriend was passed on to like 3 agents and then when she finally spoke to someone qualified they said they needed "authorization".
So now I feel I am all out of options and I don't know what to do.
