Hi, I am currently using the Telus prepaid plan that costs $100 per year. It includes unlimited nationwide talk and text, plus 2 GB of data per month. Calling personal numbers works perfectly fine.
However, I have run into an issue where I cannot make calls to any 1-800 or toll-free numbers, such as banks, Amazon, Telus, etc.. When I try, I get a message saying that I do not have enough balance and need to top up.
Since my plan includes unlimited nationwide calling, I believe toll-free numbers should be covered. Could someone help me understand why this is happening and how I can solve it.
Thank you in advance.

Can @TELUS_Support help me with this? I cannot call TELUS, since it is toll-free.

Hmm, let me forward this to my support team and see what could be the issue. We'll reach back out to you when we find out. In the meantime, can you call using whatsapp? fb messenger? other methods?
