Hello!
I upgraded my phone/plan at least half a year ago, but changed my mind before the phone arrived. I contacted Telus, and was told that I had to wait until the phone was being delivered, and then refuse it. I agreed, however the phone did not arrive, it went back to the delivery company storage so I didn't know when it was returned to Telus. I reached out months later (being charged monthly during this time) to see if it was back and the agent confirmed. He said I could return the device I still owed on for the bring it back to lessen what I owed. I said I did not have the exact same phone (same model, but the first had broken so I bought a new one). He said that would be okay, but when the kit to send it back finally arrived, it still had the same IMEI of the previous phone.
I reached out today to try and get it sorted, I got passed around a couple times. I said I would pay off the cost of the phone, however, I had wanted the plan cancelled so long ago, and I hadn't used it because I had switched to a new provider so I just wanted at least some of those charges gone. After almost an hour of this, the last agent said that all the charges were valid and there was nothing I could do. Any suggestions? I tried to cancel TWICE and was told no, wait for this, just so they could charge me regularly in-between.
