I just received an email purporting to be from Telus (84453064@email.telus.com) claiming my last payment was declined. Since I don’t use automatic payment and I paid my bill a couple of weeks ago I believe this is a scam. I thought you should be aware.

@Cowgirl I would say scam. Report this to ( abuse@telus.com) You could check with billing also.

I received 2 this morning to emails beginning with “D”.
They are a scam as you presumed.

I got the same e-mail. Definitely a scam. Delete it immediately. Do not click on it in any way - just hit the check button and then the trash can.
