On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., a woman identifying herself as “Radhika” (mobile: 778-928-3940) visited my parents’ new home in Maple Ridge, BC. She wore TELUS-branded clothing, displayed an ID badge, and offered a bundle that included gigabit internet, a doorbell camera, CCTV connectivity, cable TV, and Netflix.
I told her I needed a written pre-invoice before committing, so I could review it with my parents. She took my driver's license number, email, and phone number, but no payment details were provided, and nothing was signed.
Later that day, she phoned, confirmed my name and address, and repeated that the pre-invoice would arrive “the next day.” Three days have passed, and I have received no email, invoice, or account confirmation. An online search reveals similar incidents where unauthorized TELUS accounts appeared after such visits.
Assistance Requested
Please confirm whether “Radhika” (778-928-3940) is an authorized TELUS door-to-door representative.
If any order has been placed under my name or address, please cancel it immediately and ensure that no charges are applied.
Provide the procedure for adding our address to TELUS’s Do-Not-Knock list to stop unsolicited visits.
I am still within BC’s 10-day cooling-off period for door-to-door contracts and will share the outcome of this case with neighbours to increase awareness. Thank you for your prompt assistance.
