I can’t seem to find Pik tv on any options from my tv or consoles is this normal ? Or do I need to get something else.

It's not available on consoles. As the Telus website lists, it's available currently on AppleTV, the Nvidia Shield, Sony Android TVs and the Google Chromecast with Google TV. That may change in the future but those are the currently supported devices.
