How do I connect using Wi-Fi 6E

I have the Telus Boost Wi-Fi 6E access point (the white trash can). My computer supports Wi-Fi 6E, but is connecting to the 5 GHz band. How can I connect using the 6 GHz band?Thanks,Shane.
