Thinking of switch to Telus giga from Shaw but worried if I move and the new location doesn’t support giga plan, Telus would consider it a cancellation to switch plans. Even if the monthly $ value of 300 mb is the same, According to Shaw. This true???

If you purchase a plan which has unique promotions offered you (TV, pricing, etc) not available on other plans, there may be a penalty associated with changing your plan if the initial time period has not been consumed. IF you have not received such promotions, it should be pretty straight forward. Generally, though Telus will work with you in such a situation to give you the best options for a move.
