I recently returned from a 30 day visit to multiple countries in Europe. In order to be prepared, I signed up for the Europe Easy Roam in mid-February. That day, I got an email confirming that I had signed up and stating that there was a 45 day time frame for the service. My assumption was that the 30 day coverage would begin when I activated the plan on arrival in Iceland. Three days into the trip, I got a notice that I had a roaming charge of $20. I contacted the online chat and was told that the roaming charge was an error and that it would be removed. Two days later, I got another charge ($50). I tried to get it reversed but the only way was to talk on the phone with an agent and the phone line wasn't working! After I got home, I noticed on my bill that the roaming service ended April 10, or 45 days after I requested it. So I was wrong--there are TWO time frames. The first starts when you request the service; the second starts when you activate while in Europe. So you cannot put in your request until fewer than 15 days before you leave! After two hours on the phone, I got the roaming charges and most of the roaming pass fee removed.

No, you should not be charged for the “Europe Easy Roam 30 Day Pass” unless you use mobile data, make a call, or send a text while in an eligible destination. Since the pass only activates upon usage abroad, simply signing up ahead of time won’t trigger any charges.
2. Can I sign up again, and when?
Yes, you can sign up again! If your current pass expires before your travel date (June 28), you’ll be able to re-subscribe to the pass closer to your departure. You can activate it again the same way.
If you’re traveling on July 7, we recommend re-enrolling a few days before your trip to ensure the pass is active for the full duration of your travel.

Hi,
I signed up for the “Europe Easy Roam 30 Day Pass” today, and I just noticed a note that states “Use this pass before June 28”.
I’m planning to go to Europe on July 7, and I thought the 45 days will get activated when I arrive there.
Question 1:
Will I get charged for this unused pass?
Question 2:
Can I sign up again and when? Is it the same way as before?
Thanks!
Question 2:
Will I get charged if I don’t use this pas
