Scam? info@telusspromotion.com

I received a call from a "telus promotion company" they offered me a great plan for $30 and a iPhone 16pro for $20/month. The email they sent me thd info on was from info@telusspromotion.com. They wanted me to order directly from the telus website and said they'd adjust everything and but in my promo code on the back end. They requested me to tell the Websters when they call to confirm my purchase that "I am paying for the phone for the retail price." "Because they don't communicate". That seemed odd to me. But what would they get out of this?

It's 100% a scam. They are not related to Telus in any way. Do not give them any more information. Do not click on any link in the emails they send to you.

Even a base iPhone 16 Pro is $60 per month when split over 2 years. Apple's price starts at $1450 + tax.
