I got a call from +17787452453
said she has a great deal for fibre wifi and i get free one month trial. She asked me for my id number and I am not sure if the company usually asks for id before setting stuff up. She knew my address too.
please can someone let me know if this is scam or not. It was really great deal she gave me tho lol

100% a scam. That's yet another phone number that appears to be owned by Iristel. They are a company that is well known for selling VoIP access to overseas scammers.
There are multiple ways they could know your address and none of them to do with Telus. Some possibly legitimate, some less so. Considering how much information online data brokers have on every single person, it wouldn't be hard to find an address to go with a phone number. Sign up for anything that needed both a phone number and an address? etc.

If they call you with a great deal, it is a scam. Over and over posters here repeat the same thing. In the end it is never a great deal and hard to get rid of.
