Purchased a #Living Well Companion last month. Was working when I set it up, but during the suggested "test", could only get a lady who spoke only Chinese! Now, apparently, it hasn't been working for about a month! Yet I am paying for it. Just spent an hour on the phone with customer service who was unable to solve the problem. The call ended with the answer that I had to wait a few days to see if someone could solve the problem. As a senior, I ordered this product for security, but apparently this service is not reliable. Was told to use my phone instead by customer service. They will NOT send someone out to fix to adjust. Is this service for such a device that a senior orders and expects to rely on?? Any solutions?

As I mentioned in my post, I spent over an hour with support on Saturday. They could NOT find a solution as no one would answer the call for help on my Living Companion. Obviously, both I and support knew about the link you provided. When I tried to do a test call on Monday, it worked! So, it appears to me that Telus does NOT have operators responding to emergency calls on the weekend for the Living Companion. I was not told this when I ordered. Guess we shouldn't need help on Saturday or Sunday. Could someone investigate and tell me what the problem was or if the lack of personnel on weekends is true? Not sure I can trust or have faith in the Living Companion.
