I received a quote from a Telus store emplyee for "4 theme packs, 1 Premium Base landline for $139.75 2 year contract. Would the fee go up after the two years. Is there any trial option? In other words if we weren't satisfied with the service could we get out of it? If Satisfied we may be switching over from Shaw.

After reading some of the posts here regarding the frequent outages I now hesitate to continue as that is the reason I consider the switch from Shaw is from a recent period of many outages. The trial is certainly a nice option, Could you also advise on how much the (expected) increase after two years from the sign up rate of $139.75. I now pay a $195.00 + taxes (usually totals around $225.) with Rogers/Shaw which is a two year contract price incurred after a change with Rogers/Shaw. So it may well go up after the two years which ends in January 2026.
