My family just switched over to Telus yesterday after a door-to-door salesman came up to us with a $30 for unlimited data deal. I’ve been getting these pop-up windows that seem fake (the font and type of pop-up is something I’ve never seen before on my iPhone) on my phone since then asking me to set up My Telus even though I am not the account owner. They asked for details such as IMEI number although I don’t remember Fido (my previous phone provider) ever having asked us. Is this a scam?
